Getting Started
Do you offer a free consultation?
1
Yes! I offer a brief complimentary consultation to answer general questions, discuss what you're looking for, and determine next steps. This consultation is intended to help you learn more about my practice and decide whether scheduling an initial appointment feels like the right fit. Consultations are 15 minutes if you need additional time I would encourage you to book an initial session .
How do I know if we are a good fit?
2
Finding the right therapist is an important part of the healing process. I encourage clients to view the first few sessions as an opportunity for both of us to determine whether we're a good fit. It's important that you feel comfortable, supported, and connected throughout the therapeutic process. If at any point we decide another provider may better meet your needs, I'm happy to help you find the right fit.
How often do clients typically attend therapy?
3
Most clients begin with weekly sessions, particularly when engaging in EMDR or trauma-focused work. As progress is made and goals are met, sessions can often be spaced out based on your individual needs and treatment plan.
Can I do a hybrid of in person and tele-health?
4
Absolutely. Many clients choose a combination of in-person and telehealth sessions to best fit their schedules and treatment goals.
I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. Upon request, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. I recommend contacting your insurance provider to learn more about your out-of-network benefits.

Do you accept insurrance ?
Do you offer virtual therapy throughout California?
6
Yes. I provide secure tele-health therapy to individuals located anywhere in California. In-person services, including office-based therapy, Walk & Talk Therapy, Equine-Assisted Therapy, and EMDR Intensives, are available in San Luis Obispo County. A limited number of in-person EMDR Intensives are also offered in Martinez, California, throughout the year.
What is your cancellation policy?
7
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, I kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed appointments, may be subject to the full session fee.
Please visit the Services page for current pricing on therapy services. Because EMDR Intensives are customized to each client's goals and treatment needs, pricing varies. If you're interested in an intensive, I encourage you to reach out to schedule an initial appointment or consultation to discuss the best option for you.
